Joanne and I have nearly made it through a whole bag of Provencale flavor borrel nootjes. One needs fuel to tackle the apartment search that awaits us tomorrow.
I arrived here with an amount of baggage that I consider to be indecent. After so many years of carry-on only, checking two bags and carrying two one made me feel like I was taking an airplane for the first time and wasn’t sure if they would have toothpaste in Kansas or wherever my final destination turned out to be. When I come back here at the end of the month, I’ll have even more baggage, since I will have four kennels.
It is raining and cold. It is the perfect soup weather. Fortunately for me, Joanne is busy reheating the curried pumpkin soup she made from scratch so the first night here would be able to be relaxed.
Just a quick note for now, to let you know I have arrived safe and sound.
